BarCamp Artsakh 2013 took place in Shushi.

BarCamp is an international network of user-generated unconferences primarily focused around technology and the Web. In Armenia BarCamp has been held since 2009. It is already 5 years that people who usually meet online, gather in one place, communicate with each other offline, learn about innovations in Web sphere and just have fun.
Starting from 2010 BarCamp takes place in Artsakh also. This year BarCamp Artsakh took place from 24 to 28 of July in Shushi. Nearly 70 people from Republic of Armenia and Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh were participating in it. Guests from Denmark and USA were especially impressed by the warm atmosphere. The initiators and organizers of this year’s BarCamp Artsakh were AYDC (Artsakh Youth Development Center), the ministry of youth and culture in NKR and the ministry of youth affairs and sport of RA.
During these 5 days , besides the presentations, which were mostly concerning blogging and media, the participants had the chance to meet the Prime minister of NKR Ara Harutyunyan. The meeting was held in warm and friendly ambiance.
Especially impressive and interesting was the excursion in Shushi and Dadivank. The participants visited the museum of art in Shushi and the church of St. Khazanchetsots, knew a lot about NKR and had the opportunity to see one of the most ancient churches in Artsakh-Dadivank.

In the end the participants had a final meeting, discussed the pluses and the minuses of the unconference, took photos and departed with the hope to meet next year again in the frames of BarCamp Artsakh 2014
